He was the only one with enough balls to take Barea's little ass down. Too bad he did it way late, in WWE style, and his teammate took friendly fire in the process.

take him down? I didnt see barea hit the floor. That was a half ass attempt at a clothesline.

Artest hitting Odom in the balls.

What a weak ass attempt at a clothesline. We all knew Artest was just a big, loud pussy. First he runs into the Palace stands and attacks the skinniest, weak fan in the area and now he tries (and fails) to deliver a strong message to Barea and only ends up poking him in the face?

    Pathetic

What's even more bizarre is the play before that when Marion got the ball on a break and slowly made his way to the rim with time running out, he gets fouled by Artest. When seeing Marion go up, I thought that the most ideal time for Ron to lay out a hard foul. The guy was in the act of shooting, you plant him sternly to the floor, probably get a FL 1, maybe a 2, but highly doubtful you get suspended.

So, why hold back against Marion and clothesline Barea a few seconds later?

Well deserved for that piece of trash. Now this leaves the Lakers with NO bench now that Odom will probably be starting. "The Killer B's" absolutely suck....

Don't think so. Artest did a good job on the boards. He was a huge reason why the lakers got so many offensive rebounds.

...including 3pt bricks that lead to countless run outs for the Mavs. And we are going to miss his lockdown defense <sarcasm>

Laker fans (myself included) have been wanting Barnes to start for a while now. Here is Barnes' chance. Only other negative I see is PJ will dust off good ole Luke. Come to think of it, Luke just might start.

Silver Lining: Kobe will get some burn at SF (the position he will begin playing full time in the near future). He's been successful at SF for the Lakers before.
