i think he would be more like Dwight Howard. but he would score more because he could shoot.
Malone was physical on defense. He was never a good weak side defender and was at best a mediocre on-ball defender.
look, we're arguing with some dip s who don't seem to know anything about basketball before the year 2000.
yeah, i'm going to trust your take on it more than the people who voted him onto those all-defensive teams, and also more than my own eyes, since i witnessed him playing.
eh... I think the Boozer comparison is more accurate.
that dirty wouldn't get away with the he did, in this modern era.
Look at the 1997 Western Conference. It only had four teams that won 50 games.
One team was the Lakers with Kobe in his rookie year and Shaq in his first season with LA. Not really a contender given how many new faces that team had.
The other team was the Sonics who were never that good to begin with.
The one team capable of putting up a fight with Utah was Houston, and they only lost to Utah because of the ass ramming Stockton gave their scrub ass point guard Matt Maloney. Malone played like in the 1997 playoffs.
If they late 90s Jazz lost to any other team in the finals, they'd be known as one of the weakest teams to ever make the finals.
Marcus Camby won defensive player of the year in 06-07.
Bangs are acceptable, as in Oden's case. I am simply showing how Oden is not a sexually confident young male by using my powers of observation of his psyche.
lol
Not so subtle troll bads
late 90s Rodman at age 35 and 36 wasn't "one of the best defenders of all time". Quit revising history. Malone had 3 inches and 50 pounds on a guy who was way past his prime, you can't possibly come up with a legit excuse for Malone being frustrated by Rodman the way he was.
Going Phil Jackson on dat ass.
Minus 4 inches and freak athleticism?
Sexual confidence is underrated on this board.
Now, in an attempt to show his male (false) bravado, he will piggy back another man's takes for what he perceives (though clearly intellectually dishonest) to be a "jab" that bothers me by referencing my height.
It's a classic case. I'm this close from bringing Dr. Lecter into the conversation.
hair smack doesn't bother me in the least. The 8 months I worked at Target I was called JB at least 5 times a day.
yep. Malone put up his gaudy numbers at a time when there were scores of talented big men. Howard puts up big numbers at a time when talented big men are few and far between.
you've failed
lmao spurs
It's not your fault.
It's. Not. Your. Fault.
Dirk is not the 2nd best PF of all time either.
This has been a tough day for you, but we have had a break through.
I've never claimed such a thing.
You fail again.
Maybe you can throw your Kori is my aunt shtick to save yourself.
tbh odens hair is longer than mine imo
Malone put up his numbers whoring pick and rolls with John Stockton. Howard puts up his numbers primarily off isos on the block and put backs. Howard would put up freakishly good numbers in a gimmick Jerry Sloan system.
So you don't have bangs? If you do and you have ever responded to such things, I have succeeded.
I am glad to see you didn't let one bad decision (i.e. bangs) lead to another bad decision (agreeing that Dirk is the 2nd best PF)
