Only Boston and Lakers could have chance to stop Miami and they are 0-2.
Lakers only if Bynum and Gasol came to play.
Mavs just have to keep calm and don't pussy out in game 3. And the fans better be in loud at the AAC for the Mavs.
I know I know..the gimp has spoken.
I'm taking the Mavs in this one, Lakers in games 4 and 5, and Mavs close it out in 6.
It's a moot point, the horse has already left the barn, and Poonsie is probably dating Swords, but, if Kobe don't close Sacramento we're still in California tomorrow innin'.
Mavs better come out like their lives depend on this game. All it'll take is one up and the Lakers can take advantage.
Cubby is one greedy mo'fo. You have 16 rings and you can't give 1 to the needy?![]()
The way I see it, Mavs win tonight. Mavs run more and attack the basket more when playing at home. As far as the crowd goes, u can't depend on the north dallas beautiful people for . They can be hit and miss. Mavs will go up big causing further division amongst Lakers teammates. An altercation of some sort will ensue between Lakers which will either ignite and unite them, or end their season. - Mavstradamus
Mavs need to win their home games, and if that means sweeping the Lakers, so be it.
Celtics lost game 3 last year in the finals, ed their whole up.
Yep, it was just a little while after Pierce bellowed in Staples that he wouldn't be returning.
Uh, uh.
I think the crowd will be loud and supportive tonight. Doesn't mean we'll win, but playoff games the crowds tend to be better. This isn't a mid-February game against the Bucks.
Dallas peeps - will there be a viewing party out in AT&T Plaza tonight, even though it's a home game? Had a lot of fun watching Game Two the other night:

If any Laker fans are already calling it over, off, ots.
Was wondering that myself. I doubt it since it is a home game but not sure.

Referee Assignments
Fri. May 6
L.A. Lakers @ Dallas: Derrick Stafford; Ed Malloy; Tom Washington
Alternate: Zach Zarba
Almost time..yet again.
Will Pau even at least pretend to show up?
Can the Mavs exorcise their demons? I hope so, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Lakers come back to take this series.
I have hope..but a fools hope![]()
Wouldn't either. If the Mavs do manage to apply the chokehold, it's going to look like Phoenix 2010 all over again, especially with the way Mavs are struggling with the PnR.![]()
