    He is the same player as last year..he has actually played better than last year's playoffs, when you consider the level of compe ion..

    Last year, after he won the le, NBA casual fans/Laker fans/NBA people/analysts/coaches continued to hype him up, strictly because he won the le, ignoring his performance..

    This year, even though he's virtually the same player, the Lakers have been embarrassed in the 2nd round, and Kobe's stock is going to fall..

    Further proves how much of a difference a supporting cast makes, and it further supports the argument that winning is extremely overrated, when making a ranking of players..

    he isnt that bad considering the miles he has logged. the other comparable guys have fallen off the face of the earth: duncan, kg, shaq. what killed the lakers was no 3pt spacing

    +1. You can only force your body to do so much. I think they've said Kobe's played in about 75 playoff games the last 3 seasons combined, which pretty much adds up to an extra season....
