tbh I'd rather face OKC. I know we had their number this season even beating them without Dirk one time.

Memphis would be a legitimate struggle IMO

Memphis would be better for the Mavs. Randolph guarding Dirk or Tyson Mavs in 6

If Dallas had a healthy Butler i'd take them in 6 over OKC too, but that series could go either way tbh.

thing with Memphis is that Randolph/Marc aren't gonna lay down like Pau has this series and they're really gonna have to make Dirk work on defense.

they might not lay down like Pau has, but they still don't have a shot of containing Dirk. And the Mavs wouldn't have to worry about Durant going crazy.

There's nobody in the league that can stop Dirk at this point. The Lakers had a lineup that was very favorable in atleast containing him, along with the greatest coach of all time, and they're making him look like Jordan.

You gotta make him work on the other end to atleast try and wear him out

memphis ain't winning the series against Thunder imo. Thunder will qualify & fight the mavs (which is most likely) in the WCF imho, and they mavs will hold a better odd of winning since they're more experienced & in superb form. The question remains though, which team would u s prefer to take in the NBA finals, the Bulls or da Miami Heat?

if i could choose between memphis & OKC i'd definitely pick memphis in a heartbeat. dallas swept the grizzlies in 05' 1st round series, at least we'd hold some mental advantage if we take em on. OKC play too quick which would be more than likely to kill dallas like da 08' series against hornets imho.

You want Memphis. You're a terrible matchup for them.

I don't see them getting past OKC though. They looked pretty ty in game 2. The problem with having a guy like Randolph is that if you put somebody like Ibaka on him, he turns into a jumpshooter, and if he's not making those jumpshots, it's game ova.

Plus Perkins is a good matchup on Gasol, they're both big and slow.

One thing is for sure, whoever the Mavs play in the WCF will put up more of a fight than the Lakers.

imo Dallas is a match up problem for the Grizz, that Randolph would get merked by Dirk Diggler. With the Thunder they have to stop Westbrook and Durant with itself is a problem.

I think the Lakers would rather play the Grizzlies. Now our best fishing resort will be a tough one to choose.

I don't think anyone's planning any parades. But this thing is pretty much over. I don't think the Mavs have that great a shot to win the le tbh, but looking on into the next round isn't that much of a stretch when a team is up 3-0.

Mavs should beat either, but they would be much better off against Memphis IMO..

Randolph would have to play D, for the first time in the playoffs..Chandler has a much better chance of stopping Randolph, than any Grizzlies player has of stopping Dirk..

Memphis isn't going to win their series anyways, tbh..

Nope. The Mavs are the exception to the rule. They'll make anything that looks impossible become reality.

Forget the conference finals. The real question is: would Mav fans want the Bulls, Celtics or Heat in the Finals?

    1-3 vs Memphis
