Kobe was the best player, but did not play the best in their le runs (at least the finals). I never said Kobe wasn't the best player in the past two runs, but I did say he is big man dependent (everyone is unless you are Tim and Shaq). He is choking though and even if Pau isn't playing well (which he isn't) if Kobe is as good as some say, he should easily be able to overcome that.

I still dont see how Mavs are NOT better or how kobe should win without being the best player or having the better team. But you have not proved that to my satisfaction and apparently stats wont sway you either... and i dont blame you i hate stats.
But trust me, I was there last night. Mavs are better. We played good but we still couldnt get a big lead ...they reeled us in. The better team does that. It's not something tangible but you can feel it. Mavs fans, Mavs fans! Were turning to me saying we got you in the 4th. And they did, Do you know how shocking it is to have a leless fanbase tell you that they "got you" in the 4th and they are right? Duncan did, numerous times. Duncan never had the amount of talent around him that Kobe has. He overcame Oberto and Nazr. He upped his game and was the clear cut man.
The stats back up what I say. When Pau plays above himself, they win les. When Pau struggles, Kobe doesn't raise his level and they lose.

It's not even close. HH said it best, Kobe needs three 20 and 10 guys to win. Odom and Bynum can go 20 and 10 but it's still not enough. Everyone is still ting on Pau for letting Kobe down. There's a huge elephant in the room, and it's Kobe's glaring lack of leadership.

I posted on his profile page about the bet. He won't take it.
Since he joined the Lakers, they went to 3 finals and won 2 championships. This year he isn't playing at all-star level, and the Lakers aren't enough to avoid a sweep. He was still there putting good numbers though.
If he weren't the Lakers MVP, since the Lakers have great redundancy with Odom and Bynum, Artest was present in games 1 and 2, Kobe the MJ 2.0, they are coached by Phil Jax, the Lakers should win some games.
