It seems that way, he's killing his team with the lack of ball movement, forcing stuff, chucking up bad shots, etc. When he finally does get Durant the ball it's way too late in the shot clock and Durant has to take a crappy shot. It reminds me a lot of how Kobe thought he was the MVP of the Lakers last year when he shot 6-24 in Game 7, or when he actually thought he was the MVP in '04, he got shut down by Prince and shot his team out of the finals.

I can't remember another player that ball hogged and hurt his team as much as Kobe which is why I made the comparison.

IMO, Durant needs to man up and tell Westbrook some , R-West is killing his team with his terrible play.

As far as style of play goes, absolutely. Mentally/leadership-wise I'd dispute that claim, but they're both young players so we'll see how the both continue to develop in those areas.

he's a marbury. his mindset is like he is playing for dantoni, yet thats not what brooks wants. but i gotta give allen props. even when durant got the ball he made things extremely tough. westbrook probably thought if he cant score against him i should destroy conley, of course he was horrible against him

    Winner winner chicken dinner...

Westbrook thinks he's another Kobe. His stats and results don't agree. I'll bet his teammates don't either.

The difference in talent between Rose and Westbrook is not at all significant.

    What stat measures bonehead decisions?

I think Westbrook rates a 9 on the JR Smith scale

Are you saying that he is better or that he is significantly better? If it is the latter, why? The stats don't bear that out.

EDIT: Rose isn't a sage with the ball either.

I don't think you can really compare D-Rose and Westbrook, Rose is in a much tougher situation imo, he's the focus of the Bulls' offense. Teams are constantly trying to shut him down or limit him, all the attention is on him. Meanwhile Westbrook is playing with a great player in Durant, as well as a couple of other guys that are putting up decent numbers.

Rose is the go to guy, when they need a bucket he produces and that's a very tough thing to do, whether it be scoring or setting up a guy for a wide open shot.

Memphis sure seems to be doing an outstanding job making good PG's look bad during these play-offs.

Westbrook needs to get traded to a team where he will be the focus of the offense. He doesn't want to be a true PG. Trade him to the Hornets for Paul. Hornets need a guy who will take over games and the Thunder can use more of a distributor.

Westbrook stagnates the offense, especially late in games. Rose does not.

And you can't deny that Rose is a far better passer and plays the position in a much more traditional way.
