Cul readying himself for the next era as a lakerfan.

The rest of these laker fans are readying themselves for the next era as Bulls fans.
Trying to be witty but you are fool-hardy. Most of the Laker fans on here: Iron mex, Gemini, Acme, Kool myself have been with the Lakers through the post Magic years. And i know I never once rooted for the Bulls ...even with MJ. I love Rose but wont root for them for him either ...

Cully I respect you ... but I dont get you.
Hey Im just a fan not the owner and if Buss decides to scale back for a while and let this play out, that is his right. But as a fan I dont have to accept that.

And I bet you Kobe will not either. Tomorrow is not promised to any of us. So if we are close as many think. To NOt make a move would be negligent.
But, you've been all over the map on this, Killa. One moment you're saying rebuild. The next you're saying just a little. Make up your mind.

Kobe is too old for a rebuild. In reality he's 38 in NBA years.

I'm perplexed as to who we ship out...Bynum we know won't hold up..But Gasol may not recover from this...He's pussy whipped into Neverland.

Dwight will be an unrestricted Free agent at the same time the Lakers have the player option on Bynum...You have to make a move in this case...Who do you give up...Bynum or Gasol...I say give up Gasol and gamble with Bynum because if you give up Gasol you can sign Bynum longer term at a lower price and pick up a nice PG to play alongside Drew, Dwight, and Kobe...I'm thinking D-Will or Westbrook...We'll play our cards right I'm hoping....

Pau has to be the sacrificial lamb...You don't compromise your team because you can't get over your emotions..The sign of a real professional in any field of work is someone that can go through personal and still perform their job duties at the same or even higher level. Pau is not a professional IMO and he should be the one that goes...

    Cully? You sound depressed.

Kool gets it. I would agree with Cully if we did not still have a window. But since we do, we have to be pro-active. This loss when it comes will hurt. But I have faith in Buss, Mitch and Kobe. We have always attracted stars. Once the heat start winning there are only a few destinations that make sense. if the CBA stays similar we have great assets if it does not teams will need to shed overpriced contracts and we still have assets.

No i am not. I'm not saying a complete rebuild. I said a re-load. A re-tooling. I never included kobe in any moves. The bench and backcourt need fixing. And Pau need to be rebuilt. If Pau gets his head out his ass find let's focus on the backcourt and bench. But im with Kool Pau is too soft mentally ...

Of course I'm depressed. But, to the throw the baby out with the bath water like you & Magic are proposing is only going to compound our problems.

Make some minor adjustments to the bottom half of the roster, yes, but, leave the top 6 whole & undisturbed.

So what would be YOUR suggestion for re-tooling by the way?

Cully if you can get Dwight you get him..There's no big man on our team I wouldn't trade for an up and coming young stud...With Dwights deference to Kobe. his already Hollywood personality...do you know what he would look like working under CAP's tutelage...a ing beast....

I say slaughter Pau and rotisserie his ass under open flame...

There's a lot of symbolism with Howard. Very little substance.

I'd rather rehab Gasol, and try it again.

Kool will ride or die with you and D. Fish dawg. Even if some of my brothers lose faith...Kool is confident to the end. If somehow because of this little Internal Tension that some who are Completely Unprofessional have...If that causes our ship to sink today I'm not gonna cry...instead... Kool the born leader that he is, like the Captain of the anic - I'll take my place besides you and D. Fish, put on my captain's hat, get the people safely onto the extra boats and go down in honor with the ship.

However, I'm supremely confident that you nd D. Fish will pull us from the depths and get us across the finish line which is back from 0-3 hole to claim our 3 le in as many yrs.

We Been Through The Struggles Together:

I remember during your completely false and bogus rape case how you despite facing 20-to-life you came out almost dropping 40 a night on your opponents.

I remember how D Fish during his daughters ordeal came and performed at a high level when he served a few yrs in the pen up in Mormon country.

Fellas we've come full circle now - Let's get it done...

My s Back In The Day:

My s Today Still Doing It Big:
