Didn't realize Kidd and Peja were 3rd and 4th on the list of all-time 3 pters. I'd consider Peja a pure 3pt shooter. Kidd and Terry not so much. Dirk, well, he can shoot from any where on the court - although I was surprised that he hit that little left hook in game 3.

Difference between MEM and LA is that MEM had excellent perimeter defenders and LA didn't. If Kobe gets another all-defense 1st team this year, I'll just scream.

Kobe is so overrated on D it's rediculous. I always bring this up to some, if he is so great why not lock down Billups or Hamilton who are going off and killing your team? He did not either, nor did he guard Pierce or Allen who went off in 08, he did not lock down either and just guarded Prince or Rondo etc. He is not a great defender, good yes, but way overrated on D.

Umm, the Mavs winning had more to do with them holding the Lakers to less than 90 PPG and neutralizing Gasol than hitting threes.
    +1

Even Jason Terry was quick to bring up the fact that the mavs main focus was defense. That's what won them the series.

You can't really count on hitting 20-32 from downtown on a regular basis. But I'm sure Pop was furiously scribbling notes down all game long and planning the new era of the "san antonio magic".
