    First off, my sincerest prahps and congrats to the Dallas Mavericks and their fans. That's gotta be the most ball-swelling accomplishment in Maverick history. Maybe not the most gratifying -- maybe -- but none more impressive. Dirk was clearly the best player on the floor, he's been arguably the best player this postseason, and the Mavericks have been the most complete team this postseason in my eyes. Prahps.

    Not all that surprised the Mavericks won, though. I believed the Lakers would run out of gas and the Spurs or Mavs would make it to the Finals to meet the Heat after the Perkins trade. But not even The Blackjack saw The Skunker comin' -- Don't believe there has ever been a sweep of a team with as much payroll, talent and standing in the league in the history of ever. Back-to-Back-and-attached-by-a-double-headed-dildo. Wow.
