Seems to be a trend. Don't forget Phoenix game 7
It seems to me over the past decade, that the games the Lakers lose to end the playoffs are almost always games that are not even close. Last time they lost was to Boston and they were killed in that game too. Spurs destroyed them in their final game to end the threepeat. They were blowout in Game 5 against the Pistons in the 04' Finals to lose the series too. Just an observation.
Seems to be a trend. Don't forget Phoenix game 7
2003 - blown out by 28 in Game 6 vs Spurs
2004 - lost by 13 in Game 5 vs Pistons
2005 - missed the playoffs
2006 - blown out by 31 in Game 7 vs Phoenix
2007 - lost by 9 in Game 5 vs Phoenix
2008 - blown out by 39 in Game 6 vs Celtics
2011 - blown out by 36 in Game 4 vs Dallas (+1 bush-league foul)
Hearts of a champion, indeed.

Last six elimination games that the Lakers lost:
2003: 110-82
2004: 100-87
2006: 121-90
2007: 110-119
2008: 131-92
2011: 122-86
You team the bed now its stuck to clean the sheets. You aint gonna make the lakers claim thrice the attention without losing a piece of soul along with it.
Neal rapedPERIOD
Exactly. When the writing is on the wall that they're going to lose, they bend over and take it the ass. They also do cheap and starting picking up technical fouls.
can't deny stats. numbers NEVER lie....
They actually lost by 39 to the Celtics.
Even better!![]()
