There's nothing to "handle" about Whataburger. It's a pretty standard burger, there's nothing unique/special about it.
I'll be at the Frisco location tomorrow.
Texas homers won't be able to set aside their Whataburger-tinted glasses to give anything from California a chance. But In N Out is a quality, family-owned business (no franchisees to dilute the quality between restaurants) with a Christian culture, with great food at a better price. Associates start at $10/hour, which is awesome for fast food workers. And it'll hands-down be the cleanest fast food restaurant around. Burgers are great, fries are freshly cut right in front of you -- what's there not to love?
No need to hate, Native Texans. You can share the love with In N Out. Also, there's plenty of former Californians like me who will keep them in business
Oh, and if you like 5 Guys or Mooyah, but want to spend a couple bucks less, you should love INO.

Chester's is up there too, but there are lots of good hamburger restaurants. Fast food is another story.
Unique nor special about whataburger is the size and freshness. It stays hot when you get it. You can actually customize it to however you want believe it or not. Unlike in and out where you only have your simple stuff or just animal style and 4x4. Dont get me wrong i thought in and out was ok. I just think ppl were overrating it like crazy. P.terrys imho is better and fresher. Fries and shakes from there are better than in and out. If they open one up here i would hit it up. But its not to die for.

2,500 applied mostly highschool students because the pay is 10.00$ an hour. Out of those 2,500 about 600 got interviews including myself but they only took 130. Most of those 130 were either non HS seniors or people that haven't had a job in a while. lol thinking that getting this job is like getting a job at some like mcdonalds. Entire city of McKinney, Plano, frisco and Allen applied IMO
tbh 10$ instead of 7.30 is good for hs students so that's why a lot applied. The suburbs here in north Texas have been the least affected by the recession you dumb .

I will be out there next weekend in Dallas, mostly to check out six flags, I haven't been there since I was like 5, and eat at in n out for lunch and dinner, don't care how long them lines are. I'm not waiting until this fall or winter for in n our burger to come to SA.
you people are in stupid. I applied for In-n-Out in HS because of how well it paid, I went through 3 different interviews before getting rejected. There were like 50 people applying for one job, and this was in 2006 when the economy wasn't bad. Any job that hires pre-18 year olds and pays 10+ an hour is gonna get an ass ton of applicants.

Actually, In N Out isn't your typical American screw the employees burger joint. Many of the managers there pull 6 figures and lots of their employees are there long term. It's not the carousel that places like McDonalds and Jack in the Crack have been designed to be. I'm sure it will eventually turn into that as it grows nationwide though.
