"(Retirement's) not even a thought," Fisher said Tuesday, the Orange County Register reports.
As for his Lakers, Fisher thinks the current roster could snag a championship next year if it can stay together: "I'd take the same exact group of guys and line ‘em up and lace ‘em up and we'd get the job done," Fisher said, the Register reports. "That's what I believe can and will happen."
starting to sound like senile old man Pop

Let us proceed...
Mex, you stand over with Acme, in the asshole area.
I may have to genuinely agree with you this time Che
give it up Fish. love ya but yous gotta go....
He's good for a bench role, but not starting.

I agree with you. I unlike you, am not in denial of the bags of in my team. You have 2
You f'in' right you do.
Culburn, who you gonna root for when the Lakers are a lottery team? The suns?
Crawl, motherf'er, crawl!!
Derek Fisher is going to feed a lot of opposing point guards' families next season.
I shouldn't even be here to read this question according to you, Jaggy.
But, I am here. And I did lodge 500 posts on Mother's Day Massacre, & lived to tell.
& you could do nary a thing about it.
Put that in your smoke, & pipe it, Jagoff.
lmmassacredao!!!
You bet your sweet ass it was a massacre.
LF, unlike the Mex & Acme acting like somebody.
Proud of ya, boy.
- "Never, ever give up."
- Jim Valvano - stomach full of cancer.
When will that be? It has happened like 4 times in their history. The 4th time was a tanking "to draft a HS kid that I don't want to see on another team in a few years" (MK comments on Bynum to Laker season ticket holders in a town hall meeting right before the draft).
The Lakers won't be in the lottery for a long time. There will always be a star in LA. Might not be a HOF star, but a star nonetheless. The only time you will see LA in the lottery would be strategic or because they made a trade that netted them a lotto pick.
I guess I should have said "fringe playoff team fighting for 8th place."
& I survived it. I built my triple redoubt like in "Zulu"---and took you s as you came in.
I vowed to defend The Skunker with every fiber of my being and I f'in' did it.

Oh you know it. I'm just laying in the cut right now watching these hyenas come out in droves now that the Lakers' season is done. The funny part is the Lakers now have an unusual long 6-month summer to heal, rest up, and come back stronger than ever next year. Plus, there will be improvements via trade and from within so we will be right back in the thick of things next year. The Spurs on the other hand can't make that claim.
the Skunker aint vs. the Holocaust
