With Wade at the head of the ship, Heat are going to be tough......he's proven that he won't ever quit on his team OR on a series no matter who's on his team. That said, there is still the matter of the ECF that has to be settled and whoever advances from ATL/CHI is going to be ready.

it's a little excessive but they were never truly respected by Boston or even the media. It's more about exorcising the demons than anything. LeBron surprised himself at how clutch he was. WTF was that stare. That's a 'you're gonna get raped' picture waiting to happen
Still got to keep it moving, just the 2nd round. I expect this from LeBron giving his shortcomings depsite the league handing him opportunities (including not calling him breakdancing at the end of Game 4) but Wade's won it all before, he should know better.

SA and Boston both out, so both worst case scenarios (outside of LA losing) are gone. I'm gravy.

All I need now is Chicago and OKC in the finals and its all good.

But I thought Lebron wasn't clutch. Imagine if Kobe would have been the one that did what James just did.

lol well a lot of Laker fans "knew" they were going to beat the Mavs in 4 or 5. You're not an objective party, so you really don't count.
I called the Spurs as fool's gold, called the Celtics running out of gas and Lakers not 3 praying...

At least I've been consistent for the past couple of years now with it.

I'll go into it at another time. For now, hats off to the Heat and Boston for a great series despite the lopsided result.

And it isn't so WWE/predictable this year. Majority of the games have been close all throughout. Lakers, Spurs, Celtics were all Finals favorites and now they're all out.

Ratings gonna drop like in the future.

At first, i didnt want Heat to win ...

But with Lakers out why does it matter? they were gonna win one regardless ...abd it forces the Lakers to "re-tool" some ...doubt they "rebuild" which I am cool with ...

I like wade's style over Lebron but come on the kid was destined to be great good to see him seize the moment ...

Ratings were higher when Jordan was winning les, when the Lakers 3-peated, the same thing will happen now IMO..the public loves dominance..

Great close-out by Lebron. Good sign for Lebron heat fans, rest of NBA not so much ...

Lebron did it for the kids ...EXCEPT the "re- " ones

Boston was up 87-81 with 4:28 left. They didn't score any more after that, as Miami went on a 16-0 run to close out the game.

BTW, all that about LeBron not being clutch? That's out the ing window now, folks!

Nobody is getting by the Heat.

I never thought he wasnt clutch but he did have less "skins" on the wall ...

But i agree with you, not as big of fan of his as you appear to be. but if he ever starts putting up a string of playoff games together like his first half in game 4 and his close out of Game 5 ... the NBA is over for a few years ...

Mavs have to be confident, but just a little bit worried ...

As was mentioned earlier in this thread, LeBron closed out Detroit with a (even I'll admit) classic performance so what he did to Boston was nothing new....we know what happened after that series. To his defenders, he'll have his clutch moments that they feel should vindicate him as a clutch player....to his detractors he still has to have a major part in winning the whole thing (without help from the refs).
