The Skunker!!!
The Skunker!!!
The Skunker!!!!
Bose does not make overpriced . They have superb quality and their customer service is unmatched. (I once called and told them I broke my headphones and wanted to know where I could take them to be repaired. They had me send them in and they sent me a brand new pair. Free. I TOLD THEM I WAS THE ONE THAT BROKE THEM.)
I have the QC2 over ear and the QC3 on ear noise cancelling headphones. They're fantastic. Nothing else that I've tried even comes close to matching the quality. yea they're pricey (I think the QC2s were $300, the QC3s were $350), but totally worth it in my experience.
The Skullcer!!!
It's well known in the audiophile industry that BOSE actually stands for Buy Other Sound Equipment.
Unmatched by who? Have you ever called Grado, Sennheiser, or Shure to talk to them about a defective headphone? Do you have experience with other brands to be calling them unmatched, or do you expect that Skullcandy is going to go out of their way to throw new headphones your way after you spent $15 on Wal-Mart for bottom of the trough garbage? They have superb quality and their customer service is unmatched.
All the more evidence that they don't put nearly as much into their products as they would lead you to believe, allowing them to afford this kind of support. Still, nice move by Bose. My boss bought a pair of Shure's on eBay, and they came with a wire frayed. He called them up, they sent him a brand new earpiece.(I once called and told them I broke my headphones and wanted to know where I could take them to be repaired. They had me send them in and they sent me a brand new pair. Free. I TOLD THEM I WAS THE ONE THAT BROKE THEM.)
Honestly, please list the headphones you've tried prior to the Bose? I find it odd that people are stunned when $300 headphones are noticeably better than headphones from a department store that cost 1/10th the price.I have the QC2 over ear and the QC3 on ear noise cancelling headphones. They're fantastic. Nothing else that I've tried even comes close to matching the quality.
cry havoc is right, bose make very overpriced . i like those headphones though.
best performing noise cancellers i've ever used were made by jabra, though they weren't very sturdy.
