    Great response. There's still never been, and there never will be a valid explanation for all the Lakers fans who crawled out from under a rock in February of 2008.

    let us proceed.....
    You just keep pushin' that rock up the hill for the Nuggets, Kyle. It's noble work yer doin'.

    It would be swell to see Perkins make Dirk yelp "no mas!" in German.

    None of the Zombie Sonics can guard Dirk, he's going to have Ibaka and Perkins flying left and right whenever he pump fakes. If they give him space he'll punish them with his jumper. Play him close, he'll drive by. Play him too physical, he'll beat them at the FT line. If they sell out on defense to stop him, Chandler will get easy dunks and Kidd will get open 3's. He's just a nightmare matchup for the whole league, which is why defenders resort to hacking.

    and you're crowing the Grizzlies because they beat a team anyone with a half-decent amount of basketball knowledge knows was a pretender.

    "They beat the classy Spurs , don't underrate them "
    Wow you are one dumbass re ed jew...

    How about the fact that theyve gone toe to toe with a Thunder team whom most people consider a serious threat? At what point does your re ed jew self stop dismissing them as some fluke team??

    lol @ people saying now that the Lakers were obviously not contenders all along
    At what point other than that short run post all-star game did they look like one? They looked vulnerable all season long and in their first round match-up. They were considered the 'favorites' simply because they were the defending champs and media darlings, not because their play indicated that they were.

    The Lakers were vulnerable the past two seasons, they just didn't play any serious compe ion in the West. This year they did, and look what happened

    We'll see if it was serious compe ion, or, O & Forever!. If it's the former I'll cite it. If it's the latter, I'm gonna ride high & wide to the point where She'll have to come down here in that saddle shoes/cheer leader outfit that I'm so fond of.

    Agreed, they looked vulnerable last season too although to a lesser extent than this year. I was really surprised that they got past the Cs in the Finals although the Perk injury+30 FT 4th Qtr obviously had alot to do with that.

    I don't recall anybody saying Dallas had a remote chance before the LA series.

    Funny how all of a sudden now everybody knew all along LA wasn't gonna advance

    @ all the Dirk love fest. Don't get me wrong, the guy is spectacular but I'm with Giuseppe on this one. If he's really that good, Dallas would've had at least a ring by now. The Mavericks claim to fame was their lone NBA Finals appearance in 2006, they haven't been relevant since then.
