Does anyone out there remember the Lone Star commercials that played during the Spurs radio broadcasts back in the late 1970's? One was by Dave Mason that talked about Tex-Mex food and Lone Star beer. Another was a nice ballad that mentioned a favorite bar and a cold Lone Star along the Riverwalk. By any chance, is it possible to get a recording of these commercials? Just thinking about them makes me want to get a Lone Star and check out a Spurs game.

I remember there was a bar across from the hemisphere arena. I thought it was called the Lone Star Bar but I was about 10years old. I just remember they had a baseball game you could play. It was set up like a pinball machine. The ball would come up from the middle of the machine and you would try and hit a homerun with the pinball paddle/bat.
I own an old Lone Star beer can coin bank which has the Spurs 1983-84 basketball schedule printed on it. It's just a regular aluminum beer can but instead of a tab on top, it has a coin insert.

How ironic this Lone Star topic would appear at this site. I was researching some of those TV commercials on youtube and finally came across my favorite one of all time a couple of weeks ago.
