Great question.
I go with Turk. Do you think Orlando will go for that trade?
Oh, as to why...
Turk is a better basketball player.
Who would you rather have?
and why

Turk is a better basketball player.
Turk because he has actually proven to hit clutch shots in the playoffs.
Turkoglu was way worse. He singlehandedly destroyed a monster Spurs team that would cornhole any Spurs team since (and including) 06. The Lakers ran a gimmick defense where they dared him to shoot every time down the floor, and it was the only way that team was losing. I honestly think the 04 Spurs win the le going away if you swap 04 Turkoglu for 11 Jefferson.
Neither because they both stink.
Turk is 5x less stinky than RJ. He's 10x less stinky than Bonner.
The 2004 Spurs were probably the best defensive team of all-time. I will forever hate that Turkish got for bricking wide open shot after shot after shot OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
Bonner wasn't an option. Your getting into semantics with who's better. The actual question is who would you rather have on your team. Neither, they both stink especially at their current price tag.
The question is a pick-em. You have to choose one or the other.
It's a lesser of two evils proposition.
13-50 from the field against the Lakers
However he did much better in 09 in the finals
This year against the Hawks terrible in 6 games- like really terrible
FG .294 3pt .233 FT .571
Hedo's salary I think is better as the last year is Unguaranteed
Whereas I think RJs is although not sure all of it is. Thus from a long term standpoint Orlando probably wouldn't go for it
Might be interesting for chang e sakes but even if he played well not sure it would address the Spurs major problems
Bottom line nah I would pass although think about.
If someone stuck a gun to my head and said choose, I would pick Turk. But he's not going to help the team any more than RJ did.
Would you rather have gonorrhea or syphilis?
This. Been there done that, got NO ing championship T-shirt.
No. We've done this dance before, and he doesn't know the steps.
04 team? seriously?
ron mercer, shane heal, anthony carter? Jason Heart...
come one people
Turk, at least he can create shots for others, when he's not hitting shots.
At least Turk ain't scared to shoot.......that said, he went from the hero for the Magic 2 years ago to their goat. He was one of the main reasons they made the trade with Phoenix because of the chemistry from the Finals run, but ironically Jason Richardson (who the team might lose but hopefully not) became a more important piece and actually turned into their closer. By him getting tossed in Game 3 and suspended for Game 4, I think he cost Orlando the series, even though The Hawks were playing better overall.
RJ has Waaaay more tools. Its not his fault that the coaching staff (and his teamates for that matter) don't know how to utilize him amd get him involved more often. Earlier in the season they fed him alley-oops and ran full court with him but they went away from that in the 2nd half and that's part of the reason thet Spurs stopped putting up big scoring numbers as a team and weren't as good in the 2nd part of the season
I agree that less plays got ran for RJ as the season wwent on and his shooting started to dip, but with the ability he has to get to the rim he rarely bailed the Spurs out when plays were breaking down due to the Grizz chasing SA off the line and disrupting the drive-and-kick. The last game of the series Pop had to sit him down for the remainder of the 2nd half because he refused to attempt to score at times. Him at least trying to drive more often when the ball came around to him would've spread the floor imo.
Turk.
If the choices were RJ or a bag of dildos it would still be self-explanatory.
Yeah, the 04 team that won 17 straight before LA stopped guarding Turkolgu, had statistically one of the greatest defensive teams in NBA history, had a prime Bruce Bowen shutting down the perimeter better than anyone since Pippen, a prime Duncan shutting down the interior, Manu Ginobili when he first emerged as a star player and closer, a vastly improved Tony Parker who was shredding everyone until the Lakers put 4 people in the lane and ceded open shot after open shot to Turkoglu, the greatest role player in league history in Horry.... not to mention the best post player in the game. Yeah, that ty team.
Eh, Turk has some size at 6' 10 & is a decent 3 point shooter I believe....with that said I am not sure. Just going for change & what I previously stated I might lean towards Turk.
