So a big panoramic photo? Ah. I see now.

Zoom in on any spot, and it will be almost crytal clear, like in those spy/action movies
Awsome stuff
that's pretty damn impressive. I wonder how a picture like that is constructed. I imagine out of a couple of thousand individual images?
Possible
if we could use this to shoot nude women
I haven't browsed the whole picture yet
I'll see what I can find
This is pretty interesting, great find!
The result of several months of work is the biggest panoramic photograph of the world; a 613,376-pixel wide by 181,248-pixel high photograph, consisting of 9,750 images, taken at an al ude of 60 meters from the highest platform of Torre Schindler, in Isla de la Cartuja. Just as a matter of interest, if we printed this image, it would take up to 13,800 square meters, which is more than two football stadiums.
yep, there's a few software that allow you to do that, not even crazy expensive - but you better have a (few) fast processors, loads of RAM and a bit of free disk space![]()
No. It works only with a fixed point of vue and very strong telephoto lenses - think seamless collage. In theory a very precisely orchestrated amount of (let's say lateral) movement of the camera could also work (it would create a strangely deformed panorama). Street view is wideangle lenses, that moves a lot and not very precisely.
I'll bet Google Maps in Satellite mode is waaaaayyyyyyy larger!
