Rj
lol not much diff in the stats. so looking at the contracts (RJ)8.4mil a year vs (Hedo)10.2 mil a year. this is 1 of a few times that i would rather stick with RJ.
RJ, because his contract is more palatable than Turkoglu's (which says more about how awful Hedo's contract is than it does RJ's) and because he can shoot 3's better (44% for Richard as opposed to 41% for Hedo this season).
+1. Replace Turk with a D-league player and I think we win the damn 04' le....
RJ got a pass from me repeatedly because I felt like the coaching staff didn't run him any plays. Then he played awesome in games 1 and 2 this year and I was like "SWEEEEET". Then he abruptly dissapeared and stopped doing anything...and he doesn't get a pass for that .
As for that alley oop play, they ran it alot but teams started sniffing it out. I went to three Spurs games and they ran that play and everytime, I predicted it about 10 seconds before it went down because that set they run is so predictable.
one hour with your mom can get you both
basketballwise Turkoglu is clearly much better. This season is a freak for him because of the worlds and all the jumping around from team to team. Hands down Turk destroys RJ.
but when you include contracts it's like comparing a piece of with beans on it and a piece of with corn on it
Who puts corn on a piece of ? Or beans for that matter?
Turkoglu's last year isn't fully guaranteed, RJ's is a player option.
I'd trade RJ for Hedo straight up. Both are trash. Hedo could maybe serve some use as a smallball 4 instead of having to play Bonner.
Either way, Spurs have a terrible choking player who they'd be better off without.
And please, enough of the excuses for RJ about his touches.
Ron Harper changed his whole game and career from being a bigtime scorer with touches to being the ultimate roleplayer. Jefferson shut it down instead.
Turk isn't any good. The spurs had him and he was bad.
Go a different route for change.
