Good player, but Spurs have too many guards.
Lit up Ohio State for 38 pts last week.
Any NBA team is going to get a steal with this guy. He's projected to go late.
Doesnt matter...If he is the best player available at #29 you take him. I would rather have alot of solid depth at the guard position and if needed move one than draft someone at a position of need who is not as talented or has as much value.

Moore said he talked with representatives from the Miami Heat and Orlando Magic on Thursday, with more meetings today. He's had a workout with the Houston Rockets and has others scheduled with San Antonio, Miami, Minnesota, New Jersey and Indiana.
I'm sure Utah thought the same thing when Milsap was on the board and they already had Boozer...oh wait, no they didn't.
mention san antonio and you see other teams jumping the gun on prospects cause they rely on our scouting....fck that
in this years draft we need to take the best player available. if hes available we get another steal. if anything he could be used as a trading chip or he can become backup PG and we use hill as a trading chip.
I half agree with you on that.
Spurs don't have one to two good guards, they have 4 of them with Parker, Hill, Ginobili and Neal. They also have Anderson who is a natural SG and who was great before his injury. Unless Spurs do a trade or let Hill go when he will be restricted, this situation won't change for a couple of years. If Spurs draft a guard, it will be damn hard for him to get some minutes and improve his game.
Now, if Spurs are really high on a guard and don't like bigmen available at #29, they should go with the guard and figure later what to do with a potential logjam.
At the end, I'm not fully against drafting a guard but he must be significantly better than the pool of big me available at #29.
Word, and now they're soaking in all of their championships right?
No, but they have a quality starting PF, and if they had passed on Milsap. they wouldn't.
You draft the best available, and figure out what to do with your bounty later.
That doesn't always work, I agree in some cases with lottery picks but we're not a lottery team yet.
