The Bulls need to more of that to the Heat when they trap more often.

What athleticism? Has he won a dunk contest I don't know about?
How is he anymore athletic than the average young NBA player?
The problem is, the Heat are a MUCH better defensive team than Dallas. They have quicker athletes. I said at the start of that series that Miami should just double Rose every time he passes half court and let the others score because the Bulls don't have a player that can take over a game night in and night out other than Rose.
You can't stop Nick Collison around the rim, you can only hope to contain him.
Dallas should be happy to only be down by 9 tbh
If not for the horrendous sloppy play and turn overs Thunder might only be up by 3
He's 6'3", lightening fast and can get off the ground. He's an athlete. But he doesn't have court vision and makes bad decisions. That pass to Durant should have been a lob at the rim instead of trying to hit Durant in stride.
And he keeps missing the mismatches that Durant is creating with the pick and roll. Dallas is switching on every screen and Durant is isolating against guys 6 inches shorter than him.
The Thunder defense has Dallas scrambling. The one that settled them down was Peja of all people. He made a few plays and showed some holes in the defense and Dallas recovered a bit.
Dallas was in danger of being run out of the gym and it being game over before it really got started. But the PG play of OKC is also hurting them. Should have been a larger lead too.
It's a good point. The Bulls still have the middle of the floor open like OKC and when they have a big at the FT line (particularly Noah who's probably their best passing big) they usually get a high percentage shot if not from that big then from the guy cutting baseline......problem is, Noah (as you pointed out) isn't a scorer and has been missing a lot of those layups which isn't the worst thing if you're getting the offensive putbacks they got in Game 1, but they've been missing many of those (especially Boozer) and the Heat have gotten more aggressive on the boards.
Going to be an uphill battle but at least they're only down one game.....Deng is going to have to help carry some of the scoring load imo, especially if Korver can't find his shot.
Boozer left at least 6-7 points (IIRC) on the floor with missed "And 1's". Could have been a difference down the stretch. Would've put much more pressure on Miami to execute down the stretch against the Bulls defense.
Good job by Terry. Got Dirk an open look before the defense could settle in.
Looked like that might have been out on Ibaka. Dallas hanging tough.
Damn Terry is shooting 63% from corner 3's this playoff

that .4 commercial. It's over and done with obviously, and the Lakers got what they deserved in the Finals that year, but I still contend that if you can't catch and shoot in .3 seconds, then there's no way in you can catch, turn and shoot in .4.

I love it when Terry shoots those pullups on fastbreaks.
