With a virtual non-existant NBA career. He was never good enough to be a franchise player anywhere..

Duncan's legacy was better than KG's long before 2005..
KG is maybe a little better than Ewing.. Maybe...
He's that relevant in the NBA if he puts up 15 or so a game and never wins a ring
Really.. Okay.. Does the name John Starks ring a bell??
TD would be ranked a little better than Ewing without Manu's existence.
How do you know that? Most people think that Manu was the best player of a 61 wins team. If Joe Johnson can be the franchise player of a second round playoffs team then I think Manu could too and be even better. If Billups can be the leader of an NBA champion why can't Manu?
Anyways, all of this is speculation, the only fact is that Manu is one of the winningest basketball player of all time while beign a key player of all those winning teams, not just a Robert Horry.
In a team less stacked he would have put up more points, in a team equally stacked he would have won rings.
What magnificent courage. Bravo.
TD is ahead of Ewing easily all times.
02 without Gino in there he won the MVP.
That Manu's a bad mother fu...shut my mouf.
I agree that Manu is under appreciated by many Spur fans, then again so is Tony, but that statement in bold is moronic. Duncan still would have two championships to one for Garnett. Also, Duncan didn't need to leave S.A. and join up with two all-stars to win his les.
KSAT 12 Sports just reported that they checked with the Spurs today and confirmed that Manu had a fracture of the Ulna, not the humerus as had been reported by Manu to Noticias. The ulna bone that runs on the outside from the wrist to the elbow has a micro-fracture where the bone joins the socket.
Maybe we can speculate til the cows come home...
but maybe this brings to light one of the reasons that the spurs seemed less confident since the start of the grizzlies series...maybe they knew the real news about Manu's broken arm...
Again, it also shines the light on Pop and his decision to play Manu in a meaningless game-even though he kept Manu in street clothes in L.A.
He is tough. Now it makes sense why he sat out game one.
Abso inlutely!
Good. Awareness of your obsession is an important part in dealing with it.
Obsession has nothing to do with it...Awareness...oh yeah ...I am absolutely aware and can see clearly that Pop stayed around for about 2-4 years too long and every season he continues to coach is a travesty.
If you cannot see this clearly...It may be time to face reality.
The only reality is that Pop will decide when he leaves. He has the confidence of the only person on the planet that matters.
Wasting emotion on Pop's status with the Spurs is irrational.

Don't bring this up. Could have probably have Stephen Jackson for RJ and then had both Manu and RJ, but none of you guys wanted that. I wanted to trade him immediately when SJax said he wanted out of Goldenstate. Pop even said last offseason in an interview that they thought about bringing SJax back. Spurs FO has made a lot of errors lately. At worst SJax probably gives us the boost that Gerald Wallace gave Portland.
Gasol? Yao? Duncan, Iverson, James, Anthony, Stoudomire? Few players that come to mind that played in 04. Manu beat them all.
All for a meaningless regular season game. Way to go Pop!
And LOL at the Parker lovers. Manu played better against Memphis with a broken arm than pepe lesuck played against them.
