Mavfan was always dogging Marion, maybe not in THIS game but they hated him like Barea. Ultimately Marion clamped down and helped save this game.

Nah man, we've loved Marion since last year for the way he accepted being our defensive guy, smth which he didn't in Phx. Barea, yes, we were really hard on him.
Haywood is another guy who is just laying it all out there right now and that's a surprise.
I gotta give major props to Marion... I couldn't ever have imagined Marion playing that kind of defense in Phoenix.

tbh ive been a marion fan since his arrival last year. i was critical of his 3 point shooting or lackthereof he once had in phoenix. also critcal of all the missed bunnies he had at the rim last year but his defense was solid. he didn't show up in the playoffs last year though however.
this year his defense has been just as good but he hits the occasional turnaround hookshot and is a great garbage man near the rim. he has played within the offense and is converting those bull shots he missed last year.
and barea got a lot of hate early in the year bc he was shooting like 26% from 3 and making dumbass decisions with the ball WHILE getting killed on the defensive end.
& just so we all don't ferget:::I was first on Barea.
The Mavs will get the last word on him when they sign him to a 5 year $70 million contract.
If it's after they win the last game next month...the point is immaterial.
Mavfan has always supported Marion. We were hard on Barea... but to be honest it was for good reason. The guy actually gets to the bucket now days.. no longer

Barea sucked last year. The same way Beaubois sucked this year. I guess confidence and understanding what you need to improve in made Barea a tougher player this year.
