Seems like so far the Spurs are only working out players who could be had with the 2nd round pick. Makes me think the 1st round is a Euro draft and stash or they will try to dump the pick.

Malcolm Lee is #32 on the latest draftexpress mock draft. It's closer to #29 than #59.

Not sure why I like this guy cause hes very raw, but the upside is there. To me the question is does he love the game.

I don't see why he's rated in the DX top 30. He doesn't shoot the three. He doesn't rebound. He doesn't dish. He scores 13 ppg. Big whoop.

I've had a su ion they would dump the pick since they signed Da'Sean Butler. Too many teams shopping for 1st rounders in a ty draft to pass on trading what would be a weak pick for one in a better draft next year.

His unknown qualities may be better than the known weak qualities of this draft. The Spurs paid him $150,000 for just those last few weeks, three times what they had to. They must have a pretty good feeling about his prospects and recovery.
