He was falling out of bounds almost to start the play at the end of regulation.

No. The one where they called Collison when he fell and touched Dirks shorts.

I think it had more to do with Collison giving Dirk the business the 5+ seconds before that. He was very physical with him and then Dirk fumbled the pass, so the ref kinda bailed him out, but he could have called a foul before the fact.
