OKC is very overrated this year, they were supposedly great after taking LA to 6 last year and the next thing, but all year I knew they were not ready nor near it yet. At the end of tight games they look lost.
That just because u have the younger, faster, more athletic, high flying team, doesn't mean u have the better team. OKC'S b-ball IQ just isn't that high yet. Give credit to the Mavs. They cranked it up defensively.

No team makes it to the WCF being "overrated". The Mavs swept the Lakers, who were the defending champs. They did not sweep the Thunder.
They are a young squad with a ton of talent. Their PG is a loose cannon, but he's got the tools to be a ing terror if he gets his head on straight and learns the difference between aggression and panic mode. Their coach is also learning.
They will be back next year because there's absolutely no reason for them to not be.

They still have no guy to take over the game late, as great as Durant is he is not that yet! All year they were the second best team behind LA heads said over and over, but they are there because Memphis choked game 4 when they should have been up 3-1! Spurs were a bad matchup for them as well and we know that, but they are there so I guess they are second in the West right now. They are hyped up too much though, no real leader out there and lost down the stretch.
They have a ton of talent and will be great, but they are not there yet. Next year? Maybe, but as of now Durant needs to grow more as a leader. Westbrook has a ton of learning to do as well, I agree there.
OKC is going to be a force for years to come. They just need to learn about the details of the game.
OKC is a really good team, but the Mavs are on a mission this year.

really? you can call every team overrated and I don't care if they are the nba champs. OKC is clearly overrated and with all the durant will be mvp hype, westbrook being the best pg in the league, dont you think thats overrating?
series is done thats all i can say, dallas will close it up @ home, mavs in 5. there ain't no excuse to choke THAT hard imho s just managed to lose da game despite a 14pt lead with only 4 min left. you omitted da golden chance, you get punished

The Thunder were predicted to make the WCF this year. They were not predicted to win it, not over LA. They have made the WCF. They probably won't win it.
In order for a team to be overrated, there has to be hype surrounding the team. I haven't seen much of that for OKC. This is a team that came out of nowhere while other, much more established franchises have struggled.
Sure Memphis folded under pressure, but OKC applied that pressure, SA did not. Now OKC is folding under pressure that's being applied by Dallas. Every team besides the eventual champ will fold under pressure. That doesn't make them overrated.
The Lakers were overrated. Every analyst had them in the Finals this year. That's overrating.
Sure, you can do whatever you want. That doesn't make it a fact however.
Rose was the MVP, and he's a PG so he's obviously the best PG in the league.

The game last night didn't change anything for OKC. They would have lost this series regardless.
Yes, this series had that feel about it. But, because of last nite OKC didn't give "anything can happen" a decent opportunity.
When Westbrook has the ball, damn near anything can happen.
Durant cast off his humble & started jackassin' way too early. Dallas took note & punished him.

for all intent and purposes this squad is made up of "kids". Brooks will learn from this and take this team to the next level. Brooks is COY material and to lead this squad of young ones to the WCF is testament to the caliber of coach he is.

Unless anyone had them winning it all, they weren't overrated. They're a solid team whose potential got them exactly where they should be. Dallas is simply more seasoned and it's paying dividends now.
