Go San Antonio Heat! the mavs.
True story:
So, I stopped watching yesterday's game with 4 minutes left in the 4th quarter, because I was ing tired and also because it looked like OKC was going to win.
This morning before going to work, I watched some highlights on whatever sports network was on, and they showed the Mavs run at the end of the 4th
OKC![]()
That's exactly when I started paying attention because I knew the game was going to turn around when Harden fouled out.
Dirk a monster down the stretch + Harden foul out = OKC offense relying on 2 big choke artists (Russell and Kevin)
Ah
I guess I turned the TV off before he fouled out
Harden is their second best player; Westbrick
At one point last night they cut to commercial, and one of the commentators made the comment "And the Thunder are about six and a half minutes away from tying this series at two apiece". It just rang of jinx, and sure enough, OKC made it happen.
The fact that Harden fouled out with almost 5 minutes left to go in the game further supports how bad of a coach Brooks is. Given the man has a memory since he's human, having Harden available for the last couple of minutes in the game has to be a priority. After the last couple games you can't just be content with Westbrook running the show down the stretch. 14 points isn't an enormous lead with that much time left... I would have benched him just in case if they began to crumble, and they did. Durant was also very bad down the stretch, he was another turnover machine and took a ton of bad shots. Unless Harden was the reason they were up with a nice cushion at that moment, then of course the above wouldn't apply, but I wouldn't know because I really didn't begin watching right until Harden fouled out.
The Thunder simply don't have any good decision makers on the team, including the coach. It's pretty funny.
Yeah. Once harden fouled out, I knew the other guys had to make their if they wanted to hold on to the lead. I really didn't have faith in that and they proved me right. They are a young team but I don't think they're ready for
The big game.
Durant started chucking up Westbrook style threes because he wasn't positioned in the low block where he was killing it. Dallas was sending double teams each time and for some reason Brooks didn't want to put any shooters on the floor.
It was an overmatched line up of chuckers and people who couldn't shoot and Brooks was stubborn enough to let a 17-2 run happen. Bad playing and even worse coaching lost OKC this game, which means the series is over in 5.
Dirk is all class giving his opponent a chance to win a game. Very spur like.
Scott Brooks makes Vinny Del Negro look like a mastermind when it comes to calling plays out of timeouts.
Thanks
But I didnt make it
Quite so.
Yeah the only thing Lefty and hilarity have in common is the L, T, and the Y in their names...
I'm not sure why lefty gets hated on, maybe I'm missing something. I thought that was a rather amusing sig, tbh.
Because I'm not funny
Actually I'm being not funny on purpose, so people like Gemini Method or Venti Quattro have something to post about
I am only messin around, lefty!
It was an epic meltdown. Dirk was on another planet.
Yeah I'm kinda pissed that I missed that
Oh well, I'm gonna catch the replay on NBA TV
