I just cant see Brown coaching the Lakers. How long do you Laker fans give it until Kobe and him butt heads?

Wonder what Shaw's been thinking throughout this whole process? Though it's ultimately been pure speculation when LA was rolling it sounded like he was a shoe-in.

What I think is ing awesome is that we won't hear lal bandwagon talk about how AWESOME their coach is. We won't hear how awesome the triangle is against the 4-down, we won't hear any of that .
I LOVE IT! Go Mike Brown, former University of San Diego guy...tough gig, high pressure, aging roster with hard contracts to move and a possible lockout. Yup...you're setup for greatness.

I'm not "thrilled" but I'm also not "bummed" about this either. The Lakers' problem were defensive. Brown is cut from the same cloth as Pop, therefore I would approve. The Lakers still have 3 potent offensive weapons (Kobe, Gasol and Bynum). The only thing that stopped them from playing right now in the WCF is defense. Brown knows defense. This could be a good fit.
    thank you

Its bad, you guys went from being favorites into "well, I think we have a shot this season" team.

The Lakers payroll doesn't justify this coaching move. Your roster is still one if not the best unit the league. Adelman wouldve been perfect.

regarding Adelman but better minds than yours and mine are at work here at Laker central.

    Lets see what happens.

    That reminds me

I think it was during the 2009 playoffs, or 2010, during the playoffs, they showed the Cavs assistant coaches doing the job and Bron standing like an idiot, totally clueless.

He and Kobe wouldn't butt heads. Kobe would at him about wanting to chuck more shots, and he'd say, "You're right, I'll have more iso plays for you from now on."

    whatever...

the guy is a Pop dude so i think he deserves a break. I trust the Lakers decisions before a arm-chair GM any day tbh

we'll more than just contend. no worries here

    MIKE!

Give me the LeBron plays, the only difference is that I have Championship experience.

Declining skills though but he does have that experience.
