They might as well just stay home now since they are already there.
Still a series to be played out Cagney.... , the Spurs came back from a 3-1 hole against the Mavs back in 2006 and OKC has proven to be the only team in the postseason that has been able to win in Dallas. Problem is, they proven on multiple occasions this postseason that they have a TERRIBLE time closing game. Brooks, Westbrook and Durant cost the Thunder the game tonight.

EDIT: Obviously the Spurs ultimately lost that year but that's not the point, .

I said in the Memphis-OKC series that Westbrook would cost the Thunder a series one day, and it's happening now....

Wow, Westbrook is getting hammered on his facebook page.

Can't blame him tonight. Durant didn't get it done.

Wasn't all on him, but this may run him out of OKC faster unless Brooks goes 1st.

Neither will get run out. They made the WCF. It's a huge success to that city. Brooks will be hailed as a hero who brought that team out of the mire. 2nd best team in the West, that's not bad.

Firings will not happen, although Scott Brooks is a ty coach in crunch time.

I can see that viewpoint DMC, but Brooks' handling of the Westbrook situation in the playoffs has been shaky at times which might affect their relationship moving forward. That, and the meltdowns the Thunder have had this postseason while up big and inability to execute down the stretch. If there wasn't so much drama surrounding the team, Brooks might be in the clear but I think the seat is going to get a little hot.

I think the Thunder will listen to calls for Westbrook whenever they are legally allowed too (lockout) but not necessarily ship him but they have to make a decision with his future because his Free Agency will be coming up soon iirc.

How do you lose a game with a 55-30 rebounding edge?
How do you lose a playoff game at home with a 15-point lead with 5 minutes to go???

CHOOOOOKE-la-homa, where the Mavs go waltzing through your D.

Booty holes definitely got tight in the closing minutes and the Mavs were the aggressors. Maynor was particularly bad in his shots and decision-making which was a far cry from what we saw at the end of Game 2. Still played a good series overall and one wonders what might have been had they not let Game 4 slip with casual, passive b-ball down the stretch.

I wouldn't say choke. What exactly did Thunder had to choke anyway?

Thunder are still a pretty weak team imo. When you pit them against a veteran team they will crumble. Its just nature.

So they crumbled under pressure....similar to choking, which they did in giving up the lead with bad play late.
