Lakers will be rooting for us. Spurs, I am not sure.
The rest of the NBA, except maybe Houston, will support us as well. Don't know if it will be enough though.

I don't see why it would be a horrible thing for the Mavs to win the championship. If that happened, the Spurs and Lakers would still have a combined 20 championships to just 1 Mavs championships. I don't see how it hurts your teams.
