The Black Keys
KoL or Arcade Fire, tbh?
DPG, your thoughts would be appreciated.
The goods, no doubt. This is a straight forward either-or tho, tbh.
Of those, Arcade Fire. Suburbs was pretty boring, though.
Bets album of 2010, tbh. I was late listening to it, but fell in love.
Akron's own.
Arcade Fire >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> KoL
You guys liked The Suburbs, though? First four or five tracks(minus Rococo) were really good, then the middle filler kicks into overdrive until the last two songs are good.
DD, you like The Antlers? New album is good, but can't touch the beauty of Ho e
tbh I first heard them when you posted Epilogue a few months back. It was the wrist-slitting goods imho. I'll check the new one out.
Suburbs is the cheesy goods. Sprawl II is so gay, yet so catchy![]()
It's so god damn sad. Need to pay attention to lyrics as you hear. Not sure if entire album is a metaphor, or a true story. Always hear different.
I like Arcade Fire, but I'm not a big fan. I used to be a huge KOL fan, but something happened after Because Of The Times because they totally suck so much balls now. They have turned into one of my least favorite bands. It's hugely disappointing.
I have to say Arcade Fire by default.
“When I was checking vitals, I suggested a smile. You didn’t talk for a while; you were freezing. You said you hated my tone. It made you feel so alone, so you told me I had to be leaving.”
ohm's sex is on fire.
We all know the truth. Jcvd, vin d, kol. These things always win.
Doesn't look like Brothers to me.
Sup brah? Haven't listened to any Black Keys besides whatever comes on the radio. Ya'll do weekend aim chats son?
TV on the Radio owns both. But Arcade Fire >>> KOL.
KOL is overrated. No Cars Go is a classic. Suburbs was a strong album. Sprawls II and Ready to Start made that album.
If you want indie goodness, I highly suggest The Kills' new album 'blood pressures' and the artist currently known as Lykke Li.
Are those the 3 douchiest things you could think of?
TVOTR is the . I agree on No Cars Go. Keep the Car Running is another decent track on NB.
Arcade Fire EP is where it's at. Headlights Look Like Diamonds and The Woodland National Anthem are the .
I caught the hipster bug, tbh.
I'm going to have to disinfect by listening to hours of Slayer.
I'm not even an Arcade Fire fan, but to compare them to crap like Kings of Leon is disrespectful.
