I have said I was wrong about the Spurs and Dallas beating LA. Ultimately I said Dallas won't win a le with no Caron but the addition of Tyson/Peja. We will see.

The only reason TC, mono, sribb and others kept predicting the Mavs would lose was because of their history of bad playoff losses, instead of objectively considering the fact that this Mavs team is much different than past Mavs teams.
Shank was in the same boat as myself and Ghazi as well. Dude knew what was up, and deserves props for staying objective as well.
Call it homerism if you may, but I think the Mavs have done a pretty good job of proving us "homers" point that they are a different team, by not getting lucky and/or barely getting through each series, but by dominating the out of their opponent in each series, and doing so with a " you" at ude throughout. They have really had only one bad loss in this entire run (G4 Portland series), which proved to be more of an anomaly, rather than "*sigh* same old mavs" as people thought, as the Mavs have been without a doubt, the best closing team in the playoffs.
Not trying to bash people (especially after what is really looking like a bag bunch of comparisons that I brought up about Roddy B, yeah im the first to admit it, although I still think he has extreme potential and talent to be special), but constantly getting called "homer" simply because I believe that they werent the "same old mavs" as most everyone else did, is horse . If that were the case, there wouldnt have been numerous spurs fans, lakers fans, and others around here saying the exact same things myself, Shank, and Ghazi were saying.

ive said the past couple years that the Lakers were the favorite to come out of the west. in 2009, i said a number of times I thought the Cavs would win it all. this year, i said it would be either LA or Dallas out of the West, but that Dallas had a much better chance this year to actually beat LA and come out of the west.
i guess the most "homer" thing ive been saying for the past few years is that the Mavs match up well with the Lakers, and could play them tougher than people think. funny, considering this time around, they didnt just play them tough, they beat the piss out of them.

The point I always had is that Stretch would say the same regardless. Just like last year when he was arguing with me about Spurs/Dallas when the Spurs facefornicated the Mavs.
Acting like he is some genius because one time he got it right (which if MIA wins he will have it wrong and I will have it right since I said before the season with HH that MIA would win a le), doesn't make him some genius all of the sudden
It's hilarious how I have admitted I was wrong about the Mavs, but TC can't let it go because he feels such extreme guilt about quitting on his team. So he, just like BadFish, piggy back other people's shticks.
I have been right way more than I have been wrong and these clowns try and focus on that one thing which could ultimately not end up even being wrong. I said Dallas couldn't win a le and I could be right, but like I said before I was wrong about them being a true contender without Caron.
