You watch, the lakers will make key movements to make themselves younger, tougher, and better. Spurs on the other hand will more than likely bring back the same damn team with real minor changes.

    Probably

Lakers TV market at least 6.7 x Spurs
Lakers Owners Buss net worth 360 million
25% minority owner Anschultz 7 Billion
Spurs owner Peter Holt net worth 80 million
09/10 per Forbes Spurs lost money. Lakers with Higher payroll made money.
Lakers have the highest average ticket price- Anschultz group owns the arena that is kept full year round-

Exactly. Lakers will rarely not contend, because the team makes more money than the Spurs. Spurs are going to have some rough years coming up, but if they make smart decisions, they'll be back a few years after Duncan/Manu retire.

The Lakers also have a better front office. They make trades that improve their team. They are not so conservative bringing back the same team year after year with minor role player changes like the spurs do .

Yes as the Lakers made some great moves with signing Ratliffe, Barnes and re-signing Fish and Brown.

Nothing tops locking up RJ and Bonner for the future.

    Neal with it.

It goes back to the Laker's having the $$$$ to back up their FO. That and the Laker's tradition is hard to compete with, when it comes to luring free agents.

It's tough to compete when you're being outspent. I actually think the teams overall salary should be a stat going in to each game. For example, you'd see the win/loss for the year, avg ppg, opp ppg, etc, and team salary. It's puts things into perspective for the fan when you see a 98 mil team plus about 30+ mil in luxury tax go up against a team just over the salary cap.

Then the spurs need new owners with more money.

Lakers FO is in turmoil with the owner's idiot son taking over. Purple and Gold might be in for a bit of a downswing.
