Agree, second best player in the world imho.

What does that have to do with anything? The Golen ball is an individual award. Messi had the best individual performance last season.

Xavi's pass was awesome but look at the attention Messi draw from Evra to allow Pedro to be all alone.
As expected daf with the goods. Yeah messi is a nice player.

I think the occasion got to Hernandez, i've never seen him play so poor. Props to Barcelona though they just picked United apart.

haha, United got destroyed. I'm glad I was wrong

    Van Der Sar was terrible

    Chicharito was garbage

Giggs needs to be put out to pasture

    MU

I've got to say, it was a pleasure watching Barca dominate the way they did.

Man U is a tremendous team that was swallowed up and spit out by the Barca machine. Barca brought the wood, what a performance.

    This one is sweet

That's what makes this Barcelona team even more ridiculous. They treated Man Utd like they would any other random team. Did anyone catch Sir Alex Ferguson clinching his hands after that 3rd goal? He didn't even know wtf was going on.

As much as I dislike Barca and their ty fans, I enjoyed this game. I guess they realized that they can win without playing a boring fest for 90 minutes.

game was partly over when barca always had the extra man in the wide space while manutd defenders were caught with barca changing where the ball was played, didnt have an extra defender to cover the open field....they got inside so easy and the open space from outside the box was always open for them to pull the trigger...

chicharato shouldnt have been a starter...his fkn as a starter, this clown reminds me of drogba and his stupid offsides...

valencia failed, couldnt do on the wing trying to get pass players...

i wonder why nani didnt start, oh yeh coming off the bench and taking on the defenders...fck him

the 2nd goal from messi, that was lame on Vidics part just stood there as the ball curve pass him or he was in the way of the GK...

david villa is fkn good, but his iness never saw that when he was at valencia...fkn barca furor gettin to his head....

Ferguson asked if he had a blank cheque which Barcelona player would he sign? Answer: 'That's one of the most stupid questions I've ever heard in my life... Javier Mascherano. You try my patience sometimes.'

Are the rules different in Mexico? Does Chicharito know what offsides is?
Clearly you've never seen him play... and I can understand why.

Chicharito has always done that, mainly because he's mostly successful when trying to beat the defense, he obviously doesn't succeed every single time.

Didn't watch the game... kinda wish I did..

Some of the Hernández hate here is a bit unwarranted...

Javier was asked to be the lone point-of-attack the whole match when statistically he's done better when allowed to come back to the mid-field and help steal balls / wreak havoc in that zone... I'm puzzled that SAF did not shift against this long-ball counter-attack strategy during the game to allow Javier Hernandez to roam further back... it seemed like he was in an island the whole game...

In that light (under the context of that failed strategy)... regarding Chicharito's off-sides calls (3 of the 4 off-sides calls were legit... the other was incorrectly called and could have given him a pretty advantageous position towards goal considering that Piquet was already beat on the play) it's unfair to say Hernández had a crappy game simply because he got caught by several off-sides traps. It takes two players to get those calls and the passers are equally as guilty of the call when the plays are 'close'...

Besides, Barca midfielders have done an exceptional job all season in pressuring the opposing mid-field players into delivering less-than-desirable passes (divided balls) to the front line... we saw more of that in this match... Rooney, Giggs, Valencia, Parks, Scholes (what little time he played), and Nani (when he wasn't trying to take on all of Barca's defense single-handedly)... were all less than precise with their passing on account of Barca's pressure. This facet of the Azul-grana's game doesn't get as much respect as it should... but their relentless defense is equally as imposing as their brilliant offense.

This Barcelona team is simply a team for the ages...

If one could clone players I doubt even the 'World Cup / Eurocup Champion' Spanish National Team could defeat this team... Messi is such superb player that his presence would give Barcelona the edge in that hypothetical scenario...

Of course Barcelona would beat the crap out of Spain, they're basically the same team with the addition of the best player in the world, the best right back and one of the best left backs.

Yep, this Barcelona team is the most dominant sports team i've ever seen. Even more so than the Jordan Bulls or the 90's Man United.

Only team i've seen play who could match them are probably the Pele Brazil.

Offensively yes, but they're pretty close. I could go with either, they're clearly the two best right backs right now.

I'd have to agree. During the ManU game I found myself wondering if there are any national teams that could even hang around with them
