He was awful in some areas all night. His shooting was very uncharacteristically poor and he turned it over too much. His defense, rebounding (9 in the 2nd half) and passing kept us in it until he was able to take over.
The game ball goes to Marion tonight though imho.
DMC got it. Dirk has been in total "EFF YOU" mode the entire playoffs, and for some reason turned it off at the start of the finals.
During that last part of the 4th you could see him turn it back on again. Not even the made shots, but the DEMANDING of the ball, and the refusal to be denied his position on the floor and favorite shooting spots. It took 1 and 3/4 games, but he's finally regained the you he had during the west playoffs.
You could see it in that little strut he did after the gw layup
