On another note, Mavs should hope Haywood isn't out. They actually need him this series.

Yup...experience matters more and more the deeper you get into the playoffs. Mavs are in the driver's seat now.

No definitive leader of the team

Both wanted to make hero shots

    Celebrated too early

That missed layup at point blank range by James was a harbinger. Things never improved after that.

That comeback by Dallas was impressive, but it was a combination of Dallas making a furious comeback and Miami (mainly Wade and LeBron) taking dumbass contested 3 pointers. I'm not impressed by what Dallas did for the game. Miami was in control for most of the game, and then handed it to Dallas. Dallas turned the ball over 20+ times, it's obvious Miami's defense bothers the out of the Mavs. I still think Miami wins the series.....

Why was Terry even in there on that Chalmers shot? Mavs had a TO to make a sub make or miss... Should have had Deshawn out there. Details, Carlisle, details.

I thought several of those TOs were unforced. Rarely saw on-ball steals. Mostly bad passes, and lazy dribbling. Mavs have games like this periodically, then come back with single-digit TO games. Guess we'll see how tight it is Sunday.

I cannot believe this happened. I know it's just one game but damn this was impressive. Dirk was amazing. JET and Dirk won the game. Game 3 is huge for the Mavs. They need to win that er so bad. Mavs fans better be in loud at the AAC.

Dirk is a goddamn stud! I was listening to the last 8 minutes on the radio in the car and going nuts during the comeback. Then I was like... whoa I'm going nuts cheering for the Mavs? Wow... what a comeback though. Eat LeBron!

The Heat were not taking good shots in the first half. Just because they were going in did not mean they were actually running good offense in the half court. Sure, Dallas helped them get easy scores with all those turnovers, but LBJ dribbling for 20 seconds and taking a contested shot that goes in is not good offense. It came back to bite them.
