touchdown! touchdown! I think I'm Jerry Rice!
Swag Jerry Rice!
surprised Vet's still logged in, imho
isitjustme? is mine. I saw him first. Like when Cully found Barea first and was called everything but a white man.
Two that pop into mind quickly are Game 6 in '05 against Dallas and Game 3 and/or 5 (?) in '06 against the Clippers when he had like a 30/20 game in one game and a pretty big performance in the other IIRC.
two games in the 2nd round (one against the in Clippers
) are your best examples
How did he do against the teams like oh idk San Antonio?
And D'antoni tbh. He shoulda made it Amare/Marion's team and kept Nash as the role player he is. He chose to make the Suns a team extremely dependent on its PG.
Agree, imo. Putting Nash in a Kerr spot up shooter role while Amare and Marion were the big dogs would = class and rings.
Are you sure it wasn't the fact that those Suns teams couldn't play d, more so than their point guard passed too well that they sucked?
Ina world of hype, Amare and Marion just win.
lets not go too far with this.
The biggest role Nash will ever have on a championship team is that of a spot up shooting role player. Not going very far at all. Not even prime Steve Nash would be a primary offensive weapon on a championship team.
'05 vs. Mavs, Game 6: 38/16
'06 vs. Clips, Game 1: 20/15 Game 3: 32/19 Game 5: 36/20 Game 7: 30/9
'07 vs. Spurs, Game 3: 26/7 Game 4: 12/12 Game 5: 24/17
In game 5 against San Antonio, with Amare out, Marion had a whopping 5 2nd half points and missed a wide open 3 to send the game to OT.
To say Marion was clutch is an example of the Phoenix Suns having the most re ed fanbase in the NBA.
Jeremy is probably one of those dumb ASU Republicans who thought the Suns would be good this year because they got rid of a black player![]()
I put Game 5 (post-suspensions) entirely on D'Antoni. The team just had nothing left in the tank at the end.
And I put the Suns' recent failures on re ed fans like you who let Sarver get away with re ed decisions.
Such as trading away quality players like Marion and ending up with nothing to show for it?
Letting Amare leave was 100x worse than trading a disgruntled disinterested Marion for Shaq.
You probably still watch games and attend games. Any real Suns fan would do everything in his power to force Sarver to sell i.e. not watch or attend any games to lower TV ratings/ticket sales.
