Wade or Monta Ellis?

Both are smallish guards with freak athletisism, streaky shooters, great handles, both are mediocre defenders that go for steals too often. Ill take Wade because on a scale of 1-10 (Ginobli and Raja Bell being a 10) Wade is a 9 on the flopping scale, Ellis is frankly only a 3, if he can get that figured out and improve that part of his game he can be the better player. And bring championships to Golden State

Wade is athletic but unlike James he isn't fundamentally sound 1 on 1 defender his footwork is mediocre, he gets beat off the dribble often, and he goes for steals far too often (like terry) that takes him out of the play.

But seriously, Wade hustles a lot more than Ellis. Wade has like 40 pounds on Ellis and is almost the same height, he can do a lot more in terms of driving and fighting for the ball. He's also much better at intercepting passing lanes and plays better D because he's pretty fast and damn strong.

Ellis is a much better shooter who hasn't hit his ceiling yet. We'll see where he goes when he develops more.
