Gonna go in a bit.
It's gotten good reviews so far. Going to check it out tomorrow afternoon.
Gonna go in a bit.
McAvoy is awesome. Check out State of Play (BBC Series), he is great in it.
Never understood how rich Manny can be to spend 10 dollars so often on movies.
quick question, what role does that hot british chick from Bridesmaids and Get Him To the Greek play?
A prequel. Never really a big fan of them, but I just might check it out....
Been looking forward to this one since Fassbender was added to the cast. Hope to see it in the next few days.
Thought it was pretty good. Actions scenes weren't amazing, but a very enjoyable movie. Xavier actor was the star of the show.
I go to maybe 1 movie a month on average. I have long droughts between movies but even when I got a lot of the time its only like 5 bucks cause I go during the day while I have time to kill.
Pretty cheap, IMO.
Best XMen movie to date, IMO. Special effects weren't as well done as I would have liked (first big Magneto scene had effects that were downright bad, I think) but really the fights themselves between certain mutants were really solid.
Character development is awesome though. They do an excellent job with the Xavier Magneto story and while it slows down a bit halfway through when they start to introduce more mutants it never gets bad. Its more of the fact that they start off so strong that it is almost impossible to keep it at such a high level.
I only watched the cartoon on Fox as a kid and I didn't read the comics but this movie felt like it did such a good job "caring" about the characters. Would have liked better special effects but anytime they focus on characters I can live with them being average or even below average.
Oh yeah, good cameos too. The little bits of comic homage were cool too. Oh and first comic book movie I've seen where there was no after credits scene in a long time.
Definitely did a great job.
Fanboi Manny,
Isn't the Nazi guy who tried to get Magneto to do evil (and shot and killed his mother) the same as Sebastian Shaw?
If so, how come he didn't age 20 years later? In fact he looks much younger then when he was the Nazi.
I didn't know mystique was an original x man good to know
I believe it was only mentioned once, by Shaw himself. Something about absorbing energy (possibly implying certain types of it) keeping him young.
It was okay but nothing to brag about, entertaining enough though.
How did you miss the direct explanation in the grenade scene?
What did you think about it?
Obviously the "direct explanation" was in reality a throwaway, easily missed split second that only Mul rolls like yourself would be Ralph Wiggumy enough to catch, multimanny.
She wasn't as far I as know. She was in the X-Men in later story lines but the original is Prof X, Cyclops, Beast, Angel, Marvel Girl and Iceman.
I'm okay with it. I mean, I know that in the books, Shaw has, himself, stated that he has a limit, but it also wouldn't be unreasonable to think that as long he's been around and active in the context of the film, he would have developed a certain level of control over it.
a character that's in like 3 scenes in a half ass comedy from 2004, and you made a troll out of it?
You've so shamed me.
I was with an adult female.
Who was not a blow up doll, sorry. Might have gotten distracted and missed the explaination.
Or maybe you don't know the answer.![]()
