Could be a lot worse, tbh. Imagine if Iniesta and Xavi were playing.

LMAO..should be 4-0, and two shots from Villa and Negredo came very close to going in, Villa's bending shot clipping the outside of the post and Negredo's awesome chip shot came back off the post.

This game could be reaaaalllllly ugly, I expect at least 2 more goals from Spain in the 2nd half. Entertaining game though.

Eh, the US is missing half of their A team but the problem I have is just how poor the marking has been and how bad Edu and Jones have played because they are actually people I expect to play.

Spain is great, no doubt. But when you have 5 or so players in the box not marking a single man and you're STRIKER is guarding the run into the corner a 15 year old could score on you.

Probably not a bad thing to be smacked down before the GC. Maybe they'll actually put effort in.

The good news for the US is that Spain is not playing in the Gold Cup.

If they mark like that in the GC they'll give up goals. Spain or not.

It's like the young, inexperienced American players in defense are sitting back and taking advantage of the best seats (standing area only) they'll ever have to watch a team like Spain . They simply pause and watch while Villa and Silva work some magic.

At least we are seeing good goals though, Spain is doing an awesome job of finishing on their opportunities, and I always enjoy seeing teams do that. Nothing is more frustrating when your team loses or draws despite playing the clearly better game due to a lack of finishing.

Much better in the second half, but still pitiful. But should quickly put to rest the idea that Bradley doesn't belong in the Starting XI.

'Member when I said Gooch shouldn't be on the squad?

He's injured - or at least he was at the end of the PL season.
