M's get a shutout from Vargas. Very nice considering he's the #4 guy in the rotation.
It's all about the M's now.
Yes, it's an odd le for a thread that's about the Mariners.
If they could ever score more than 2 runs a game they might actually be onto something...

Hamilton and Cruz come back and they are both hitting HRs all over the place. Just stay healthy, please. I haven't had a chance to watch much of the Rangers lately for obvious reasons, but Endy Chavez is straight tearing it up!

Another gem, this time from CJ. And another shutout. Rangers made the Indians their . Four game sweep!

That's three shutouts on this five game win streak, and only SIX runs allowed overall.

Nice win for the M's. Gotta keep pace with the Rangers!

SEATTLE -- Miguel Olivo hit a tiebreaking three-run homer off Joel Peralta in the eighth inning and the Seattle Mariners rallied for a 9-6 win over the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday.

Ichiro Suzuki and Greg Halman each drove in two runs for Seattle, which has won six straight series and 14 of 18 games overall. Brandon League pitched a scoreless ninth for his 16th save, completing the Mariners' 15th come-from-behind victory this season.

Seattle is right there as well. Too early to say Texas is running away with the division.

Two more home runs for Cruz. He's on fire. Problem is that our pitching got obliterated tonight.

Rangers stadium is crazy. It'd be fun going to the ballpark knowing you're going to see a handful of homeruns each time you go. You go to Comerica Park in Detroit, there's no guarantee. If Endy Chavez is hitting upperdeckers (was mentioned that he did on the Tigers broadcast last night, don't know if it's true), it's pretty crazy.

Can the Rangers go on a three game losing streak in exchange for a three game Mavs win streak? I'll take that trade.

I'd take a 10 game Rangers losing streak. , I'd be fine if the Rangers lost all their remaining games if it meant the Mavs winning the le.
