Saw a couple videos of this kid. From the look of it, it looked like he was playing PF, I could be wrong. but anyways, if this kid doesn't play anything other than SF, he's a no go. Spurs really need to address the SF issue.
Our needs don't even matter in this case. BOTH Morris brothers will be long gone before #29.
If you add up the draft positions for BOTH Morris brothers, I doubt they add up to 29.I don't think it matters which Mo Bro Spurs fan pines for.
Another potential player that could be waived (reports say Rockets still have to waive 2 more players).
Granted he is more of a player suited against the Thunder. Not sure what type of player Spurs are looking for.
I would be very surprised if HOU waive Marcus. Not doubt he has been disappointing, but he has talent. The tweener status definitely doesn't help him. If I had to guess, Lazar Hayward and one of the backup PGs (Livingston because he is only 1M guaranteed or Machado) will be the ones waived.
Surely they won't waive Morris. He would be a no-brainer to pick up. Clear talent there.
very eager to see who the last to waives are. Doubt Morris is one of them though.
I say there big man depth chart include: Asik, Aldrich, Motiejunas, Patterson, and Morris. Of the remaining bigs they have - White, Smith, Jones - I think they may hold on to one, which is tough since two are on rookie deals.
Well,
The Rockets have already waived all the 5 players. Morris was not one of them.
They waived : Jon Brookman, Jajuan Johnson, Shaun Livignston, Gary Forbes and Lazar Hayward. All of them had guaranteed money. (Shaun only 1m guaranteed)
