Flopping will just get to the point that it's actually punished. At least I hope so.
Dallas needs to ride Dirk for all he's worth & he needs to draw fouls on the double team. He needs to live at the foul line the 2nd half.
Look for Dallas to clog the lane since they aren't in foul trouble...yet. I expect Chandler
to pick up a couple of quick ones early in the 3rd.

Doubtful given how far flopping has gotten in soccer as an effective strategy with no penalty. Having guys who flop is more or less a must in soccer these days.

Mavs have no answer for Wade. They better hope LeBron gets jealous and tries to take over again.
Hockey penalizes flopping. They could give out personal fouls for obvious flops during the game and give out fines for flops discovered after the games.
The revered Dean Smith brought two innovations to the game- drawing the charge and the four-corner offense. One was easily eliminated by ins uting the shot clock. The other just gets worse every year & nothing can be done as long as the refs continue to call it.

The NFL's penalty for flops is a 250 lb linebacker catching you in the middle of the field the next time you try a crossing route. Very effective IMO, and the NBA has nothing they can really do to compare.
How is it that Dallas is such a good team, but they seem to forget how to play NBA basketball for long stretches of time? It's baffling.

I know that I'm old but when I played the game, you had to be set in position for one second before you could draw a charge. Now, count "one thousand one" and tell me how many guys are set anywhere close to that? Now the refs let them slide in after the offensive player is already airborne.
