When the shot isn't falling, why keep shooting? He could have gone 4-20 and only scored 8 points instead of feeding hot teammates...but he's not Kobe (vs. Pacers in '00)
True, but that's also my opinion of when Jordan was making it late in his career. Lots of resume padding by voters that are clueless, lazy, or not paying attention.

Right. And honestly, it's not that Lebron is a bad closer. Wade is just a better option in my book. Similar to Magic "deferring" to Jabbar or Worthy (usually were better options in the clutch).
Nobody cared that Magic didn't take many shots. Everything is magnified for Lebron, especially if his team loses. He brought it on himself.

Better overall than the GOAT and currently wouldn't even be the finals MVP.
That's excuse making. When you have the strength and power Lebron has and your shot isn't falling you force the issue and drive to the rim. Lebron is bigger and stronger than Jordan or Kobe. He can't just lay back and be passive with that kind of physical advantage. Mentally he's just not there.
The Magic comparison is way off base. Magic was not a physically dominant player like Lebron. When you don't try to use the physical advantages you have something is wrong.
20 PPG to 8 tonight after 4 games, for a player his size he should be at 17 ppg or so after games in the FINALS! ARE YOU SERIOUS? Shooting less than 50% nontheless! Under 20 PPG in the finals with his skillset and I am hating? He is pussy! PERIOD. That is not GOOD, it is not near GOOD! It is not near the GOAT or what some claim he is, period! That is there! He should be at 23 ppg or so by now, but he is at around 17 ppg for the series in the FINALS and under 50%, that is trash for his skillset. Don't bring up his 4th's either, it is pathetic.
Lebron is GOAT at the head whip.
Lebron hasn't even passed Kobe yet, let alone MJ.
Namlook with the goods.
Overall the basketball hierarchy right now looks like this:
MJ
Kobe
Wade
King Nothing
this is some mother ing , though. Someone has to pay for this WWE
or they're going to keep doing it like Van Gundles said. I don't
care if it's the ref or the player or both, but there have to be reprocussions.
Me too I just think
that this stuff is outrageous, it really makes
me laugh
seeing such inconsistent officiating in the
NBA.
From game 1 onwards:
2010: 30 21 29 33 38 26 23
2009: 40 29 31 32 30
2008: 24 30 36 17 25 22
2004: 25 33 11 20 24
2002: 22 24 36 25
2001: 12 31 32 19 26
2000: 38 09 DP 47 37 45
Somebody post the MJ flu game. that was badass
lmao even Miller is looking at him like, WTF man?

I don't think this is correct. Is this supposed to be Kobe's points each game? I just looked up the 2000 Finals and in Game 1 he had 14 points, and 2 points in Game 2.
Edit: I see what happened -- the line for the 2000 Finals is actually minutes played, not points. I think you accidentally copied the wrong line over.
Edit again: Funny when you look at the box scores -- Indiana was close to pulling the upset. They lost Game 4 in OT, and had a 5 point lead going into the 4th Q of Game 6, then got outscored by 10 in the 4th. They were close to winning in 6 or at least forcing a Game 7.
I think the 2001 Lakers team was unstoppable, but the 2000 & 2002 teams should've lost in the WCF to the Blazers & Kings. The NBA landscape would look so much different had that happened.

dirk shot was not falling he drove and with a 102 fever got a key key layup
I just hope the next time Dirk is sick he tells us before he starts doing ty. That way we know.
Yeah, no doubt.
Wow, he only had 4 games below 25 points.
I actually don't see any < 20pts game in there, a testament to the GOAT...
Were you as concerned with Kobe's mental approach when he posted 9, 11, 12 point games in the Finals?![]()
Why do I have to research misinformation?
First of all Kobe never scored 9, 11, 12 points in the finals.
Kobe had two games under 10 points in the finals. One he left in the second quarter injured so that's not even on the table. He had an 8 point game at age 21 that was sandwiched between 26 and 28 point games. The key difference is he was not passive. He was also only 21 years old at the time. So Kobe at 21 it totally not the same cir stances as a player who is now an 8 year vet and established MVP.
Lebron is not a young immature player anymore like he was against the Spurs. An 8 point game at that time would be more understandable. But at this stage? No. You can't be a two time MVP in your prime, be called the best player in the world, and play such a passive game in the NBA finals in a losing effort. That just can't happen. It's not the points as much as how passive he was.
Physically Lebron is superior to everyone. Mentally he's not at the level he needs to be at. Maybe his personality is such that he doesn't have it in him. Lebron himself has admitted he doesn't have that ultra compe ive killer instinct mental approach to the game that that players like Jordan, Magic, Bird and Kobe had/have and we are seeing that right now.

MJ in no way enjoys seeing Lebron fail. MJ's mentality is to beat you, not to hope you get beaten.
at "fail". The guy will most likely be holding up the LOB trophy soon. MVP or not, that's as far from fail as far gets.
