right.
but as we know, Pop and RC will up the Howard trade you propose.
and they will reject all the great offers for RJ, for reasons none can ever understand.
I'm not advocating trading all our young players, NOT AT ALL, but I do think we have nice trading chips in Blair, Neal, Splitter, Anderson, Hill, and TP.
We for example could offer more than LA for Howard I think.
We can also package one of the first three especially with RJ for a player we can start.
Bottom line if Pop and RC can really give this team a face lift if they get creative and talk a good game with other teams. Really give us a team that can win it all next week.
right.

what would be considered a great offer for RJ?
any offer to get rid of him imho
Neal and TP don't have that much value, TP cause of his contract and Neal cause he is a 1 dimensional player like jet
A that that involves RJ and Blair or Splitter for a real starter at SF or C.
Damn, another trade thread...why didnt I think of that?
This thread is depressing
Are you serious? A 23 year-old Bynum has way more trade value than Parker and the rest are journeymen.
MAN! What a monster game! 45, 14, & 10? You never hear about games like that anymore- college or pros. What a stud.
Terry gets paid 10mil per year for his one dimension.
RJ gets paid 10mil per year for his no dimensions.![]()
sure, but its 1 dimension mavs desperatly need, Spurs have bigger needs than outside shooting and scoring.
Bynum has also proven that he will never be healthy.
Well I hope they make some changes to improve... As of now, I'm not terribly excited about next season if we're going to war with pretty much the same team that got schooled in the first round except a year older.
We need a bit of a boost...
We need something to at least be excited about for next season after such a big disappointment.
Bag of chips and a Diet Coke..
skittles
Bonner may have some value to the right team. Afterall, for most of the season he was the top 3 point shooter in the league.
It's interesting to me how Spurs fans think other teams are oblivious to RJ's play and how his contract is much greater than his value.
Any of you thinking that RJ can be traded - think about this...
Let's say you owned a 2008 Honda Accord. Good, attractive but not really fast or really luxurious. Dependable and you like it. You owe about $15k on it. Would you trade that for a 2001 Corvette w/ a bad engine, no AC, one of the windows doesn't roll down and you would owe $25k on it? And, no matter how much more $ you throw at it, it will never be the Corvette it once was?
PT Barnum - "There's a fool born every minute."
So true. And that fool turned out to be Pop/RC

That's a dumb analogy. If you want to use it, then you'd have to also take into account that each party has multiple cars, each with their own benefitis to that particular owner. And that maybe one owner might be able to fix the trade car so that it better compliments his other cars.
Really stupid.
