Kobe > Duncan
On a night when the "MDE" had 14 points? Niceyo. Nice MF'n
![]()
on a night when rip hamilton had 31 (and twice the rebounds kobe did), good thing you had that all nba D at the SG spot though, he might have gone for 60
kobe also had a 2pt game and an 8 pt game vs indy, though to be fair he was just a kid being carried by daddy back then
You pick a game where Kobe injured his ankle and left in the second quarter?
Same series in game 4, at age 21, Bryant scored 22 points in the second half, and led the team to an overtime victory as O'Neal fouled out of the game.

he left in the second quarter, but still managed to play 37 minutes and take 20 shots, must have been a bad injury
yeah, the same series where shaq won finals mvp and averaged 38 pts on 61% while kobe had 15.6 on 36%, but it was kobe who led them to victory![]()
I swear this dude is one of the biggest idiots who post in here.Damn and his thread continues to backfire!
Seriously people, think about it: 8pts on 20 shots. If that's not the worst performance ever it has to be right up there.
John Starks or Kenyon martin have the worst performances I can remember in the finals (Starks was 1 for what? Kenyon was 3-23 or some
). Kobe is horrible though.
As to your first comment, we are talking about different games.
In game 4 he did lead them to victory. Which is what I said. He averaged 15 pts because he had a 2 pt game where he left the game early with an injury which skews the average. No one is putting Shaq down for what he did. But at the same time it was Kobe, not Shaq was the MVP of game 7 against the Blazers in the West Finals the same year, which was the real NBA finals with the two best teams that year. Blazers > Pacers. Yes, like it or not, Kobe was his team's MVP in game 7 against their toughest opponent that year and he was only 21.
