I don't generalize all bikers like this. Just the asshole ones. You're the hot head that first contemplated knocking off some lady's mirror. And maybe driving around with a pocktfull of ball bearings so you can administer some kind of payback. That I'm sure in your mind, plays out like some sort of badass B movie scene. I imagine you picture yourself breaking the window, then riding away in slow motion and uttering some trite cliche to yourself like, "justice is served".

In California, its legal to lanesplit (going between lanes). The rest of the states, not really, although there isn't anything that can be done about it. If you see someone lanesplitting, thats because you are stuck in traffic and not really going anywhere.

Going by technicalities, if you stay in one lane and are getting through a traffic jam in similar fashion, I don't know if Texas has a law for that, as its considered lanesharing and usually isn't a big deal. Even cops laneshare all the time.

yup thats exactly it. my life is a steven segal movie, and my next move is to reach through the computer screen, somehow magically pull you out, and punch your face 15 times in 2 seconds, then a nuclear explosion occurs and I walk out of the flames completely unscathed.

IMO i see nothing wrong with it, but it most definitely is dangerous, either because of people who dont take time to look in their mirrors and check their blind spots before making a lane change, or for riders who try going wayyyy too fast and dont really give the vehicle or themselves a chance to react.

ive done it before, but wouldnt recommend it by any means, and dont like to do it at all.
