One would think that Wallace would have learned from CWEBB's monumental mistake.

I had doubts the Spurs were to win game 5 in Detroit, but Horry played great in the pivotal game 5. The championship was won there, the Pistons would never win twice in SA.

The 04-05 team was the best Spurs team: Parker / Manu / Bowen / Horry / Duncan.

One of my all time favorites, mother er was cold as ice

When he shot with the game on the line your heart was in your stomach, and you knew it was over. Regardless of the uniform always the same result.

The "fear of failure" was a complete stranger to Horry.

Many talk of lacking that "fear", but, Horry lived it.

    ----

The focus & discipline to hold position in 2002 on the Sacramento shot while everything in front of him was going haywire. Yes, the shot was stupendous, but, to remain at his post is sublime.

Same thing against Detroit. He soldiered where Pop commanded him.

    I God's.

I see Rasheed is as re ed as CWebb leaving Horry.

If I recall he did miss a clutch 3 against the Spurs in 2003.

Yes he did, but I still had that same feeling as the ball was in the air and that was half way down before it popped out.

I love the faint sound of the horn thru the din as the shot was mid way there.

I love the hooded eyes by Horry in the aftermath.

crazy to think Kings would have won in 5 had that shot not gone in. Instead it changed the series around.

Sheed's mistake was a lot worse than Webber's. At least Webber had an excuse- it was a scramble play and a loose ball. Sheed just lost Horry off a simple inbounds play.

I bet a lot of Pistons fans were screaming at their TV's before the ball even got to Horry. The world could see him standing out there all alone- except for Sheed, that is.

One of my fave moments ever, game 5....... Tonight was game 5 and the winner usually wins it all! Heat going home and SA went home yes after this one, Pistons won game 6 AND TESTED for game 7 bigtime, but if the Spurs lose that game 5 IT IS OVER IN 6! That shot was FLAT OUT HUGE!

Horry thank you for le #3 bruh, you literally saved us that game.

As a Spurs fan drunk that night I saw that shot fall and my heart falling and the crowd dead! I was shocked as he missed that, he never does! That one night was the bball Gods saying that this is your year! That shot was dead the on! I could picture it falling and did and when it popped out I was just there in awe.
