LBJ >> Dirk athletically. LBJ is an attacking player and Dirk is a jumpshooter. Dirk still has more points in the paint via dunks or layups and more jumpers from the perimeter than LBJ has in the 4th qtr of this series. Why is that? Because LBJ has no post game other than barreling to the hole to get an and-1, fast break points, or his erratic jumper. He has not progressed in 8 years.

Dallas has figured him out. Rebound the ball so he can't fast break. Form a wall behind the Matrix so he can't get to the hole. When he gets a big dunk that fuels his confidence. Problem is he probably has about 5 this whole series. That's why he's not getting to the FT line as much as Dirk - which is what you are implying above. Then they dared him to shoot jumpers and he has mostly failed at that.

For Miami to win, LBJ has to be LBJ. He can't because of if he does that, Wade doesn't get off. I think it is smart of Dallas to concentrate on weak feeble minded LBJ and let Wade get his. LBJ still has no true back to the basket game and he doesn't have a midrange game. These two weapons should be in his arsenal by now but it ain't which is sad.

It will be interesting to see which LBJ shows up. If he forces the issue, your true MVP (Wade) will be less affective. If he doesn't ball, fans like me will continue to roast him because we all will see Dallas popping bottles in Miami's visitors locker room. He can't win for losing (pun intended).

I will never blame the refs, just saying Dallas has got the favor in calls. Far from the reason Dallas has won. The calls are not enough to effect the series and its hard for me to blame them when every game Miami has had a chance to win. If Miami loses (which I still doubt) I just say congrats Mavs and move on...

The one thing that Wade in particular gets away with that really annoys me is his blatantly animated challenges he makes at officials after not getting a call. In general, I don't like technical fouls called for reactions, but Wade gets away with extreme reactions that no one else in the league gets away with without getting a technical, including other "star" players.
    Really? Really?? Kobe Bryant.

Bull . Refs are even. Games 1 and 4 heavily favored the Heat.

yup here's some awesome evidence of Dirk flopping:

This is an obvious foul, which he had to sell because he's getting 0 calls in this entire series.

^ The finals, especially late game collapses, really solidifies Spolestra has a bad coach. It is his job, throughout the year, to develop a game plan for end of game situations, especially close games, especially important games, and especially in the final 3 to 5 minutes of those games.

The Heat has shown over and over again that they do not have that discipline and preparation to execute. Just sloppy plays, questionable defensive tactics, and non-existant end game execution (except throw the ball to Wade and let him figure things out).

    Just horribly coached team.
    +1

Carlisle has not only dealt with injuries (Butler, Haywood) but made good adjustments throughout the series (Barea to starting lineup, mixing in zones to disrupt Miami), while Spoelstra has sat there sitting on his hands doing nothing but giving scripted pep talks he thought up the night before.

Don't worry, I see Dwade still gets the call when he jumps into defenders. *foul*

Yeah, Carlisle is outcoaching the out of Spo in this series. He has made changes based on what he notices in the game, while Spo just stays with the same strategies that Dallas has figured out......

I mean, you would think he would at least put Chalmers in the starting lineup by now.....he has the passing skills to free James up for cuts to the rim, easy early points to get him going and into a rhythm, instead of having to be the PG all damn game...

Harlem losing all credibility, going out like a ass sore loser.

"We woulda won if the game was called fairly!!!"

To be fair, maybe it's the heat of the moment. If you apologize tomorrow for making excuses, you might be able to keep your mainstream cred.

WERD...I know sometimes the refs give 'em an extra step now and then, but that was ridiculous...he traveled 3 or 4 times with no call.

By my estimation, he lifts his pivot foot twice, then his other foot once, then pivot foot again, then finally one more little quickie hop on each foot for good measure before finally passing the ball.

For anyone who's counting that's 6 separate travels, folks.

Well I must've missed that one, since I used to watch every warrior regular season game in slow motion looking for violations. In my spare time you know, cuz i have nothing better to do.

Btw, congrats on your youtube search, you must've been like "score!" when you searched up "6 step travel" and this popped up.
